Physiotherapy

The field of physiotherapy is science-based, and we use a "whole person" approach to health and welfare, which takes into account the patient's general lifestyle. Our physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to treat impairments, lessen pain, increase mobility, function, flexibility, strength, and physical function. These techniques include manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy. They also treat impairments and increase mobility and function. Physiotherapy uses examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention to enhance a patient's quality of life. The patient's participation in their own care through education, knowledge, empowerment, and therapy is at the Centre of it all. Additionally, we advise early intervention to help clients get out of the chronic pain cycle, regain normal function, and lessen pain levels.

Our highly skilled physiotherapists have extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring that you receive the best care possible.

Massage Therapy

Massage is a therapeutic approach that is great for blood circulation, pain relief, lymphatic drainage, musculoskeletal system, respiratory function, immune system and mental stress relief.
Come and meet our new massage therapists soon to boost your physical and mental health.

Our talented massage therapists are trained in various techniques to provide you with the ultimate relaxation and therapeutic experience.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient therapy by stimulating specific points that can release blockages, decrease inflammation and relieve pain, increase circulation, induce relaxation and rebalance the energies of the body. Acupuncture is effective for many physical ailments such as muscle and joint pain, strains and sprains, migraines and headaches.  As well as internal and emotional conditions such as digestive issues, anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Acupuncture needles are very fine, sterile, single-use needles that are placed all over the body depending on signs and symptoms.

Cupping Therapy

Myofascial/Fire Cupping involves gliding negatively pressurised cups over the body to lift and separate soft tissue, decreasing tension and increasing blood flow to the treated area. Unlike the compression employed to loosen muscle fibers in traditional massage, Cupping allows for passive stretch of tight tissues through the gentle suction and movement of the cups.

All appointments booked under this section can be billed either as Acupuncture or Massage Therapy, depending upon Practitioner licensing.

Hot Stone Massage

Jade Stone Massage is a technique that embodies both relaxation and therapeutic massage. By using hot and cold stones, Jade Stone Massage increases circulation, decreases inflammation, and allows for deeper relaxation of muscles. Unlike some hot stone therapies, the jade stones are not only placed on the skin, but also used as massage tools to manipulate and release tension.

Prenatal massage

Prenatal massage is a specific treatment for pregnant women at all gestational stages.  It differs from a traditional massage therapy session only in positioning and depth of pressure in certain areas of the body.  Revive Massage Therapy & Wellness welcomes pregnant women in any trimester to book in with our skilled and trained practitioners.  We will take the time at the start of your appointment to answer any questions you may have regarding prenatal massage, ensure your comfort on the table, and discuss any treatment specifics contraindicated by your pregnancy.

Aromatherapy

Indulge yourself in a personalized aromatherapy treatment and reap the holistic benefits! Essential oils will be personally selected for you, based on your current emotional and physical needs. Allow yourself to be relaxed and refreshed with a soothing and aromatic full body massage that includes facial/foot steams, and a touch of hot stones for added bliss!

When you inhale essential oil, messages are transmitted to the limbic system and affect heart rate, stress level, blood pressure, breathing, memory, digestion, and the immune system. This also takes place through skin absorption.

Note: This treatment is unfortunately not available for women who are pregnant. Many commonly used therapeutic oils are contraindicated during pregnancy. This treatment is also not recommended for patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

POST NATAL MASSAGE

Postnatal massage is a full body massage that can help ease women into motherhood by offering both physical and emotional benefits. If you've had a miscarriage or unsuccessful delivery (stillbirth), you may also want to consider postpartum massage to help your body recover.

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet (and possibly on your hands or ears as well) to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better.

Head Massage

Craniosacral

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.

Face Scrub

Body Scrub

What is a body scrub massage?

A full body scrub massage is a type of exfoliation treatment that uses a Body Scrub to remove dead skin cells and promote circulation. Body scrubs are usually made with natural ingredients such as sugar, salt, coffee, or oats. They can also be infused with essential oils for an added therapeutic benefits.

Body Healing

Indian Ayurvedic Massage

Ayurvedic Massage is based on ancient Indian principles of Ayurveda and pressure points, designed to heal the body and create a balance between mind, body, and spirit. The word “ayurveda” is a Sanskrit compound: ayu, meaning “life,” and veda, meaning “knowledge.”
