CLINIC POLICIES

CANCELLATIONS

Out of respect for our therapist’s time, we ask that cancellations be made 24-hours prior to appointment time.  Any cancellation made after this may result in a no-show fee of 50% of treatment booked to be charged at the therapist’s discretion.

APPOINTMENTS – LATE ARRIVAL

We understand that everyone runs late from time to time.  Letting us know that you are on your way or will be late is always greatly appreciated.  Due to the nature of appointment-based booking, if you arrive late your appointment may not be able to be extended to the original duration booked.  You will still be charged for the full booked amount unless the therapist states otherwise.

APPOINTMENTS – EARLY ARRIVAL

Our clinic does not currently staff a receptionist, so the door to our office is locked between appointments.  Arrival earlier than 10 minutes prior to appointment time (unless otherwise discussed with therapist) may result in finding a locked door.  Please be patient and we will open it as soon as we are out of the previous appointment.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

Massage therapy can be a valuable resource for injury recovery and maintaining general wellness, but it is only able to be so in an environment of mutual respect and safety.  Inappropriate behavior, whether physical or verbal, will not be tolerated at any time prior, during, or following an appointment.  A treatment may end at the discretion of client or therapist if either party feels as though they are unsafe.  Depending upon the situation, this may lead to a client being banned from seeing a particular therapist or from the clinic entirely.

MVA APPOINTMENTS

Motor vehicle accidents (MVAs) are an unfortunately common occurrence in our busy city. Mosaic Therapeutics is able to help you through this if your case calls for massage therapy intervention.

If you are coming to us for a massage related to an MVA claim, please let us know in advance by e-mail or phone so that we can assure we have the proper time to do a physical assessment and gather the information needed for processing your claim. Please bring any documentation you have been given regarding this claim (contact information for your adjustor, medical findings from other practitioners, etc.) with you to your initial visit.

Due to the nature of these claims not being handled in real time, we do require that a credit card be kept on file for the duration of your treatment. We will never charge this card without your knowledge or consent, it is merely kept on file in case of claim denial by the insurance company.
